  • Are you 16-25?
  • Would you like to meet new people?
  • Do you want to gain new skills and experiences?

Then join our new Youth Panel!

Our panel is a joint project with The Museum of English Rural Life (The MERL). Between us we will be offering panel members a range of experiences not just in the museum and heritage sector, but in events, marketing, management...

The panel will be steered by what the members want from it. There will be meetings on every other Wednesday in term time.  On the first Wednesday of the month the meeting will be at The MERL, on the third Wednesday at Reading Museum. Don't worry if you can't commit to every session, and you are welcome to just come and try it out!

Previously the panel have influenced the major redevelopment, 'Our Country Lives', at The MERL. We hope the panel will be an integral part of of our project planning and programming at both museums.
